    A-HA

Not like the 80’s band, though Take On Me was an intense song with an equally intense video.

Can anyone else tell me why I’ve digressed and I’ve yet to even start what I was going to say?  If this isn’t A.D.D., I don’t know what is.

While inside the waiting room at the doctor’s office, I was greeted by the most unlikely source of optimism:  A Vietnam veteran seated at the door’s threshold, greeting every stranger that arrived with a quip or all around non-threatening speech.  He doddled on to anybody who would listen, and in the most amiable manner he spoke, unafraid of what thoughts might arise, but would never be spoke.
For some unexplainable reason, his VIETNAM VETERAN labeled hat and unwavering familiarity radiated an optimism, and I had never felt more secure around strangers in my life.
Though he spoke not of his thoughts, or of how he felt about Obama or the war, he impressioned upon me patriotism, much like how every Vietnam Veteran Mr. Blackman brought into class had done.
I’m nostalgic for the older military.
